I am a permanent resident with an expired passport. I have chosen not to renew it because I am in the process of applying for my US citizenship (I have already done the fingerprinting and am waiting for my interview date).
I would like to fly to Canada from December 8, 2007 to January 5, 2008. Can I do this without having a passport or proof of applying for an American passport, since I cannot do so until I become an US citizen? Thanks!
